  • Suggest any environmental changes in the home or in the work place which can help the disabled person to continue their routine without any difficulties. 
  • Assist people to deal with different equipments which disabled persons need to use.
  • Help temporary disabled persons to overcome their injury.
  • Help disabled persons to come out of anxiety and frustration.
  • Occupational therapists also assist the family of the disabled persons to deal with the situation.
  • Team up with the doctor, nurses, physiotherapist and family member of the patient and help them to survive the difficult moments.
  • Need to take immediate decisions depending on the current situation.
